@robchop09 actually it does give it a damage boost, try yourself, it takes less bullets to kill with holographic on (on the FAL at least)
not exactly, even though there is no hud map, a silencer still disperses the sound your gun makes, making it harder for enemies to pinpoint your location. In HC I use a total stealth setup and as long as I don’t get stupid noone ever finds me.

@Austizzle000 If you press the start button when someone shoots on hardcore you can see their location on the map, just doesn’t give you a heads up display.

I’ve been using the FAL, holographic/silenced with stopping power almost exclusively for 3 weeks now. Really enjoying this gun. 1 shot head shots are really fun. Also able to get several triple kills with just bullets with this thing.
i also figured if u shoot with the red dot sight it shoots a little bit more too the left and one man army is awesome with the fal i can just switch to ump when i need a automatic gun

Nah not really but you should check out stuff at CoDCheat[dot]tk it solved many of my problems and im using those tools almost all the time
Not really, the scar is a one shot kill on hardcore
@krump4liff Silencer on hardcore makes no sense.
you should use it with holographic, for some reason it seems to add more damage
@crazymidget96 It doesn’t matter where you hit the person, With the holo sight and stopping power the FAL is a two hit kill anywhere, at any range, even silenced. Except the head is a one hit kill.
